My husband and I have an eight-year-old male Chessie that needs to find a home. Gunner is a large dog (over 130 pounds), very strong and very active. I was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis and I am not able to take him on walks anymore. I am afraid he will pull me or jump on me and break my bones. He has even stepped on my feet and toes and broken bones. My husband is not in good health and is having a very difficult time handling Gunner.
He needs a fenced yard because he has always been a house dog and lives on our furniture and beds. The only time he goes outside is to do his business. He loves being outside, running and swimming.
Gunner has been good around our grandchildren; however, he gets playful and jumps on them too hard, so he must be closely monitored when with children smaller than him.
Please take him home. |
