Other Info: 8/21/17 Misty is ready for a new home with active family, she is great at the river, diving for rocks after she leaps into the water. She does great on leash while running, biking, and on longboard. May make a great dock diving dog! 7/14/17 Our girl is learning in door manners and self control, sits patiently for her food and released with a 'ok'. Doing sit, stay, and come combo as long as there is a treat involved. Crate training going well too! Oh she will complain and fuss, but usually quiets down after about 10 minutes... Patients will be a must for her. This girl just loves to be loved! 7/6/17 Our girl is doing better, has to have a lot of exercise to burn off excess energy prior to training - she is just learning to sit, but stay will take some time. Currently recommend very active home where she will get a lot of daily exercise and be an only dog. A very patient family for this girl is needed. Misty is just settling into her foster home and learning how much fun it is to be an indoor dog! She hasn't been shown much love or training but she is a sweet girl who wants to learn and is a Velcro girl as well. We feel that she is younger than the 18 months that the shelter stated and is obviously very underweight. But she is gaining weight now with regular feedings of good food and she's a smart cookie so will learn all about being a great girl quickly! See more of Misty on our Facebook page at North Central Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue.
