Karma was supposed to be a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix out of NYC. When the transport arrived we learned he was mostly a very well trained little brown senior dog with perhaps a smidgen of Chesapeake mixed in. Stanley ‘s Mom offered her home to little Karma as no one had the heart to return the cute little dog to the shelter. Sadly, Karma turned out to have advanced throat cancer. Although his time in rescue was brief, this little city dog had wonderful hospice care and got to explore the great outdoors in Maine.
