Welcome “Sarge” to CBRR&R
Make a donation to support his care!
Sarge found himself in a shelter in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He’s just 8 years old and has tumors in his mouth making his life very uncomfortable and difficult. The shelter’s vet believes the tumor is a lumpy overgrowth of gum tissue, known as an epulis. The shelter will make sure he’s updated on his vaccines and do his bloodwork.
CBRR&R has notified the shelter that we are committed to Sarge and will be picking him up as soon as they have completed whatever medical procedures are to be done prior to his release.Once that happens, our volunteers will bring him to Omaha for immediate surgery on his mouth with Dr. Thiele. We’ve already been in touch with the office and they have seen Sarge’s photos and have an idea of what to expect. Once the surgery is finished, Sarge will be off to his foster home for rest and recuperation.
Please help us help Sarge by making a donation to CBRR&R to cover his care.
All donations over and above his needs will go to help other dogs that come to CBRR&R.
